Search for Truck ?

Anyone know if there is a way to search online for a new 2007 Dodge with the 5.9 through dealers nationwide??

I thought of that but you can't build an 07 on their site anymore. Just 08's. I could search for the vehicle but it only shows dealers and then you have to look though each dealer in that zip code.

I didn't know you couldn't search for 07s on the dodge site anymore. Go to a dodge dealer that you like and they could find you one and bring it to their dealership within a certain radius.

When I went searching for my vehicle,, the areas (4 differnt dealers) were almost useless in trying to "help" me locate the vehicle I got. They would only do a 100 mile search from here (I found this out after prying them),, instead they told me the vehicle does not exist etc...not available etc. Chrylser was not help..either.... I had to plug...zip code after zip code both on Dodge site..list of dealers...than go into the dealer inventory from their individual dealer site...as well as Auto Trader. com....was very helpful..as well... anyway it took me a long while to find what I wanted...but found it over 2,500 miles away ( Dealer did not want to trade with my local dealer. I had it brought it in with a vehilce carrier service. All the local dealers tried playing "games" with the rebates..etc...pricing...etc.. It does pay to search to get what you want. Seem like the dealers around here were only interested in trying to sell you what was on their lot at the time.

You could check http://www.autotrader.com for 07's as new one's will be there, too. Look for little or 0 miles.

I'm not sure if the 6.7 has a different letter in the 8th digit than the 5.9's "C". One of the 6.7 owners on here could tell you. You might have to email the dealer to see if it's an 5.9, though, if there's no difference in the vin.

Thanks for the info. It has to be a 4x4. I might be getting an 05 with 33,000 on it or an 06 with 100,000. Pete

I used autotrader.com. Worked very well. I used the carfax link on each truck and it showed whether the truck was a 5.9 or 6.7. There weren't alot of 07 5.9 left but a few dozen. Do the search with advanced criteria. It works!

Call Perry at Jones auto in Arizona. He found me mine a two months ago, he really went the extra mile for me, he even delivered it to the vegas airport so I could have a Vacation at the same time. You just need to find the dealership that really wants your business. Tell Him Elgin from Spokane sent you and he will hook you up.

http://www.tustindodge.com

They had 2 07's and 1 06. I don't know if the '07's were 5.9's. The 06 has been there awhile. I'm sure you can deal being that this is truck month......
This is their specials page.

I guess we all know the '06 has been there awhile. I only noticed the adverts about 2 months ago.

Wink Auto trader cars.com etc.....

All good sources, and that is the best way as you have found. On 07 and up the eighth digit of the vin is C for 5.9, and A for 6.7. Happy hunting, there are PLENTY new ones out there with the 5.9 and 4X4, Scott

Thanks for the info. Just haven't decided which route I want to take yet. Don't know if I want to buy used or search for a 2007 5.9. Pete
