rough suspension

I am interested in buying an 07 with the 5.9 litre but after riding around in them for awhile I find the truck rides rough and bothers an old guys back. I also do not llike the way the truck starts bouncing and takes off on you on washboard gravel roads. Is there a quick fix for this suspension system or do you just have to live with it.

What kinda truck are we talking about?
If it was a 1 ton short box 4x4 it will ride stiffer than a long box.

If you like a soft ride you should consider a half ton GMC!

I'm pretty happy with my ride over washboard...

Sounds like the tires may be inflated to max pressure. Check the pressure. They don't need to be at max inflation to run empty. More like 45-50 psi in the rear and around 65 in the fronts.

Check tire pressure, then add bilstein shocks around all 4 corners.
