Reverse Lights quit working

I have a 2004 with a standard and I believe my reverse light switch in my transmission (or however it is set up) quite working. For a little while I could giggle my stick and the reverse lights would come on. Now they are completely out and the fuse is good. Can anybody give me any help?

Most likely it's the reverse switch on the transmission. Most autoparts stores can get it (or even have it in stock). Just tell them it's for a NV5600.
If I remembered correctly it's located on the passenger side of the transmission.

I was experiencing the same problems. I took the plug out and unplugged the driving lights in my bumper and completed the circuit with the switch plug, it worked fine. So I figured it wasn't in tight enough, nope not the problem, unplugged it again and noticed the plastic piece turned inside the nut, so I turned it expecting it to get tighter, no, but it did have a place that felt like it slightly dropped into (had a different feel at one spot), plugged it back in and it was good to go.

I had the same problem, it was the transmission range sensor, the dealer replaced it in Sept. under warranty.
