Retrieving Codes

The check engine light is on in my 06. I searched here and found the "Cycle key 3 times" info but my truck won't display any codes when I do this. Is this feature not available on the 06's?

P0514.

Truck has been in for this Battery Temp CEL twice already, they just keep flashing the computer. I'll try and get it to them again next week. Maybe talk them into changing out the sensor.....

My truck has given me that P0514 & P0071 (air temperature rational) about 5 time last year. I think it happens when there is a big temperature change. My truck is garaged at night and is insulated. When there is a big temperature change the code has come up a few times. I would think it is good that the truck can see and react to the change of say 20*. I just hate that CEL light being on for the few days. I don't worry about it. JMO

Yea Kevin,
My garage is also heated and it has been in the sub zero range here in the morning when I leave for work.....

My 04.5 did it once and the reflash took care of it. But this one is more tempermental about temp I guess.....

It's kind of bizzare, I've had my truck for almost 3 years and I just got the code today for the first time.
