replacement body parts - prepainted?
In line with the other accident threads - I screwed up and dented & scratched one of my front fenders a few months ago. Starting to think it would be a nice xmas present to myself to get it fixed.
Obviously I can buy a replacement easily enough - but are they available factory painted? Or am I going to have to deal with a paint shop? fwiw, the bill is all on me, no insurance involved.
thanks -

It'll have to go into a body shop unless you know how to paint. The edges need to be painted before installing and unless it's a solid color they'll have to blend into your front door for a match. You don't want to panel paint with metallics and pearls.

I took a $18,000 repair bill down to $4,000 just by pulling parts off other wrecked trucks. The only thing they had to paint was the door jams.
