What are you guys using to remove all the built up soot from the rear bumper?

Simple green and a kitchen scourer pad. You know the hard green ones.

This may sound funny, but if you want to remove something that other cleaners can't, try DEET. Yep, good ole mosquito spray. Get at least 20-30% and watch the magic. Wonder what it does to you?

Not sure about a couple of years worth......never let it stay on more than a couple weeks. A good cleaner wax should do it also.

Aluminum/chrome polish wadding. Takes it right off, then wipe off any residue with a paper towel.

It's funny you mention DEET. I just bought some 100% DEET yesterday for huntig becasue I got screwed up by chiggers last time I went out. Tht stuff will eat off anything!

The Goof Off took of the caked up stuff, but there is still alot in the pits. I am going to buy some brasso and try that. If not I am just going to suck it up.
