I have a 03 2500 on order, but have been checking around with other dealers to see if I can beat the order price. I have had a salesman tell me that the $2000 dollar rebate doesn't apply for trucks that are ordered, only trucks on the lot. Please say it ain't so. ???

 

The rebate applies to all trucks, ordered or on the lot. I know because I have one that should arrive today and I get the rebate.

 

Definitely not the case, received my rebate when my truck came in. You are locked in at least the incentive amount at time of order. But hey, once the truck reaches the dealer it's "on the lot" is it not? .

 

Ordered mine, got the increased rebate that was offered at the time it came in for delivery. You get it either way, otherwise find a new dealer.

 

Thanks for the info. The dealer also told me that the 6 speed was not made for towing, I should have just hung up the phone then
