I am debating getting one but the screen just looks to small. Do you have a hard time seeing the route or anything.

i also wish the screen was a little bigger but it is not "that" small. you really don't have any trouble seeing the screen and the information on it. it sure does pack a lot of features though. it was well worth the money to me.

There's one on ebay if anyone is interested. Do you have to pay for some subscription/ service like onstar? Just curious.

Nice, but I guess I'll have to stick to my $2 suction mount compus in my ash tray.

Very nice! I like the phone number destination too! That's a $1700 option. Is that about the price of the "over the counter" unit? Sure would be nice on vacations and even service calls with my job...

i highly recommend this guy. the shipping was very fast and the item was exactly as decribed.

it is unbelieveable all of the things this radio does. i still haven't figured it all out yet.

That's a neat option, easier than looking at a big flimsy map...that would be nice to have, and it was originally installed on my Ram (it's on the window sticker), when I asked the dealer about it, he told me that another buyer wanted it so it was removed...the dealer knocked the cost off of course.

Hello Lakemann,

1. No it isn’t a touch screen
2. Yes it does talk to you.

The RB 1 allows you to input your destination and it will take you there with turn-by-turn directions. It is very easy to input your destination and as you are going down the road it will tell you when a turn is coming up. It mutes the radio a little and speaks from the driver’s door speaker. It also has audible “pings” that alert you when you are supposed to turn. The screen also changes from “map” mode to a turn-by-turn mode which allows you to “see” what the road ahead looks like and which lane you need to be in. That is a really cool feature. When it is in this mode it has a type of bar graph on the side of the screen that measures down the distance in feet to an upcoming turn. If you miss the turn… it’s your own fault.

The navigation system in my Accord is a touch screen and it is pretty cool. The one thing that I like about this one is the screen size. It measures almost 9” across.

Here is a picture of the navigation system in the Accord
