Talking Ram 3500 paint ideas

I am at a cross roads with my truck as far as color. Its white now but am debating black or red not unlike the ultra bright Dodge Chargers. I guess I wanted to see if anyone had done anything exciting to their white trucks, ie. stripes, vinyl and such, before I pull the trigger on a whole new paint job.

If I was going to do my truck like a show truck, I would want one of the transitions that looks like the paint peeling off and have a P51 mustang fighter plane look underneath. I have seen this a few times on various vehicles and you could take that idea and make the under design to what you want. I know this may be a little more then what you wanted, but I would do it if my bank account wasn't nearly anemic!

Ive always wanted to do a American flag in a sceam like that. I seen pics on here several years ago of a silver third gen with a setup like that. It looked like something exploded inside the truck and ripped the sheetmetal open revealing an American flag behind it. The edges of the hole where all sharp looking and jaged like torn metal.

There is a couple excelent vinyl grafix places around here that specalize in vehicles. Some day when I have the money to blow I am gona have that on the side of my Patriot Blue mega cab.

Those are very cool ideas. I think for that, vinyl would be my best bet.
