Rack and Pinion

Drove a 2wd 03 one ton dually today with a HO motor and the 48RE tranny. What a difference rack and pinion steering makes. The truck was sheer pleasure to drive. There's a totally different feel compared to my 02.

Nice trucks.

When I first jumped into my 03 from the 97 that I traded in, I found the steering almost too sensitive. After a few miles I got used to it and it tracked like a dream. While I really couldn't complain about my 97, the 03 is so much better. And the brakes are another story.
