Smile Question About The Two Recalls

I wanted to post the following in hopes of getting some information from other forum members.

In yesterday's mail I received the "customer satisfaction notification" notice for both the powertrain control module connectors as well as the transmission cooler line.

Here's my problem.

In order to get the dealer to make the fixes, the letter received states, "Bring the enclosed form with you to your dealer." Except for the letter, and a return (Update) card to DaimlerChrysler, I could find no "enclosed form." Is the "enclosed form" just the cover letter? Does anyone know? Did my envelope lack an "enclosed form," or is the cover letter all I need.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey! DodgeRamCO42.,. I got mine(recall) and it came as yours did, with the recall letter and the update card...I just took the letter to the dealer and they done the trans. line update ....I didn't get any notice regarding the recall on the powertrain control module connectors so can't help you out there.. Mine is a 2004 3500 5.9L auto trans.

Just the update card is all I rec'd. I got two forms last week one in each envelope, one for C42 recall and the other for C44. Each form was perf'd so one side could be mailed back to DC. I doubt it matters whether you receive the form or not, the dealer will perform both at the same time if you contact the service dept. ahead of time to schedule.

I went into the dealer the other day to have a new fan clutch installed from a code I threw in my truck and they told me that I had two recalls, before I received the notice in the mail. Then when I got home, I checked my mail and the notices were in it. So no sending of forms for me. Again very pleased with my dealer and my truck.
