my thought says the EGR should be covered on the engine warranty...but...........im not dodge haha

the DPF from my understanding of my warranty runs out of warranty at 36000 miles doesnt it? so unfortuately they proabably wont cover that one for you

In california, I think the emmisions related equipment is waranteed for 5/100... Otherwise, I think it is 5/50. The EGR/DPF, etc. should all fall within the emmisions equipment category. Maybe even the turbo.

It is the great idea to get all your emission in order before deleting if possible. I deleted mine while it was working good and did not have any codes so that it will be there when I need it to pass the **** test and reap the benefits in the meantime...

It should be covered under the feds warranty, which here in LA is 5/100k

Technically the Bluetec system is inherent to the engine, so it should be covered by the Cummins warranty too....

Its at the dealer today for a new egr, covered by warranty, I did find my warranty book, it has several charts that tell you what is covered and what is not, my main question now is this is a california emmisions truck, that was bought in Arizona, so does the california warranty hold?
