quad cab v/s reg cab ride diff?

I have been thinking about selling my 05 quad cab diesel and going to a reg cab. the kids are driving now and we have an 07 aspen if we need to take more than 3 peeps. I was wodering if the reg 2500 rides worse than the quad cab? I drive 70 miles a day back and forth to work each day , so I spend a lot of time in it.

Long bed or short bed? The length as well the weight all play into account. I am not sure, but I would think from an economics standpoint, that Dodge would use the same spring rates on all 2500's...my bet is that the reg cab would ride rougher. Why sell the 05 QC? that extra space behind the front seat sure comes in handy...
