Problem with Turn Signals

Started having an occasional problem with my turn signals. Sometimes when I turn the left turn signal on the right turn signal comes on. Turn the signal off and drive a few blocks and try it again and they will work properly. Anyone else ever have this problem? Sure would like to get this fixed, kind of dangerous to have the wrong turn signal on when making a turn. Thanks for any advice you may have.

I'm also on my 3rd (or 4th?) switch. Sometimes affects the windshield wiper/washers and high beams. If you can't get in to a dealer right away, and it starts acting up, try playing with the stering wheel tilt. It seems to be a routing problem with the wires, and most of the time, if you move the wheel, the functions will return to normal for a while.

I appreciate your comments BigDiesels. They were very helpful. I went to my dealer today and they said they thought it was the multifunction switch. So, I bought one ($60) and plan to install it tomorrow. Sure hope it fixes the problem. I found the switch on the internet for about $37 plus $8 shipping but I went ahead and bought it from the dealer so I could install it tomorrow. Thanks again to Bassman and Big Diesel for your help.
