Well guys, I thought I had the truck fixed, but I was wrong...
I hooked up to my boat this weekend and got on the interstate to pick up a buddy of mine. Going about 72mph and the truck dies again. I immediately got off the interstate, and about hit 2 cars getting on the interstate on the on-ramp.
I turned the ignition to the off position while I was getting the "what for" from one of the drivers I almost hit. After the confrontation, I went to start the truck, and it started right up. We took it slow and safe to the lake and back home, and thats where its staying.
I wrote a letter last night to DC giving them one last chance to repair the problem, and sent it certified today. They have 10 days to call me to schedule a repair date, and then 10 days to repair it.
I will let you know during this process on just how good DC customer satisfaction is.

I read your thread about this the first time around. I imagine I would be HOT at this point too. That is just crazy, shutting off like that, it has to be ECM related (one would think).

Hope it all works out.

 

I hope you have better luck with DC than I did. Only offer I got would have cost me $17000. I found a better deal and just traded off truck.

 

Maybe it is the microchip in your key. Were you using the same key??
