Continued problem
The truck is running fine, starts up great, all is well until I go into 5th gear, then it boggs down. Like it loses power, can hardly get to 65.
Did an engine swap last week, the other one had the 53 crack... Had the injectors cleaned yesterday, changed the turbo.... 2, 3 and 4th gear all is well.
Did the mech just miss a vaccuum hose, or what is next? Any and all replies would be greatly appreciated.
Maybe this engine is no good... possibility... it has 69K.
Have added the Mystery oil and a diesel power additive, to no avail.
Thank you
Carlos

Governor
Could the boost leak have been caused when the rear main seal was put in, maybe incorrectly? How does one check for a boost leak?
It starts at the slightest turn of the key, is not missing, just has no get up and go....
Could a speed governor maybe have been on this machine? Is there such a thing?
Thanks
