Power Wagon factory winch setup onto a 3500?

I saw a local add for someone with a Power Wagon that is selling the factory winch setup. Will this work on my '03 3500 with my stock bumper?

Opps sorry should have searched a little harder.

Turns out that the cradle will bolt in but the winch sits where our intercooler is. So no it won't work.

Carry on.....

The bumper will have to be pushed forward to clear the intercooler. Its possible, but it doesnt look great. Mopar engineers did it with their CTD-powered Power Wagon proof-of-concept vehicle. There's pics of it running around Moab on the web.

Here ya go!

As quoted from the article: "The Power Wagon's Warn winch is mounted in the Dodge frame right where the diesel truck's intercooler needs to be. Chips and Sparks in Brighton, Michigan, fabricated a new hidden winch mount to space the bumper forward and tie the new winch mount into the frame."

If you look at the first pic, you can get a grasp of how much the bumper is indeed moved forward by comparing the headlight and new bumper locations to each other. They trimmed the heck out of the fender and covered it up with those fender flares. It's COOL as heck, but coming from Mopar I would have thought they would have done something a little cleaner. But as it is, its still a bitchin' proof-of-concept!

BTW, those are 40" tires!
