3500 for a Power wagon swap

Was kicking the idea of seeing if I could get a 05 or up power wagon in trade for my 3500,think that would be a good swap or not?

What do you want a truck for? The only thing a Power Wagon will do that your truck won't is it will off road a little better. Other than that, you've got the torque, hauling, MPGs, etc, etc etc. Your truck is better in just about every way shape and form, IMO.

The Power Wagon definitely has a cool factor going for it though! My dream truck is a Cummins powered Power Wagon like the one that was in Diesel Power mag a few years ago.

Thats the reason the off road,I got stuck 2x now with my 3500..first time it just slid off the trail into a ditch the 2nd time was just silly front driver side tire was the only one that would turn and that was the one in a hole with ice under it,if I could have gotten the rear driver side to turn I could have gotten out...even a 2500 could not pull me out had to have a custom bronco pull me out...

The cost to outfit my 3500 to make it half as good as the Power wagon off road is close to 5k plus I don't have a shop to do it in so would have to have it done by someone..

Was just wondering if a trade would go over good is all..the way fuel is and everything as it stands now if I sold it I may come out ok..adding all that might as well keep it till it's dead won't ever see the money back out of it..

I work my truck and not scared to run it in the mountains here place 3 ton of scrap or coal in it,pull ATV's ,campers, trailers ect ect..a Power Wagon would be better I belive for what I use a truck for...Heck I used it already to pull a crane apart she's not papered..

The only thing I really like about the powerwagon is the factory winch.

Been the Hemi route. It aint bad, but it aint a Cummins.
