How are these steps with snow buildup on the rockers?

 

Had them on my 04.5 and now on my 06, the only thing I did differently on the 06 was move the platform forward a we bit, I loves these steps, I think they are powered by a cheby window wiper motor, could be wrong.

I am going to PM you my contact who has the best pricing I found.

I had a huge amount of ice/snow on mine and it knockes it off with no effort, this system is well designed,,, amp-research.com

 

My truck is a regular cab, so I don't think the power-amp steps will work. Has anybody tried the Kodiak Sidewinders?

I looked at them and one of the problems I saw was the placement, if not in the correct location you will not be a happy camper...

I have the Sidewinders on my '93 and they work great. The power-amp's are ideal for my '06 and also work great, not enough snow here to comment on build up though
