On my '03 4x4 when I turn to the left the steering wheel will kind of pulsate and feels like there is little to no power steering, but only going around a corner like an intersection, not going around a curve in the road, I'm assuming because of speed and not needing the power steering. I do have a very small power steering leak but I don't think thats cause of the problem, but I have not found the source yet, and I made sure my PS fluid was up. What is causing this and whats the solution? Am I looking at rebuilding my steering box or is it as simple as a valve in the side, I have no clue when it comes to power steering issues. Powersteering box is on its way out get it fixed ASAP.
