Power sliding rear window - aftermarket?

Anybody know of a method/source to install an aftermarket or adapted REAR power window mechanism into an '05 QC? A buddy got a new F150 SuperCrew that has one and now Dodge is doing it on the '06's. I think it'd be super cool!

I'm waiting (sort of) patiently for a wrecked '06 to come into the local yards. The guys down at the yard promise they'll call me as soon as one comes in. Other than that, there are a few aftermarket producers, but I haven't heard great things about the fit/finish/reliability of them.

Yeah, I have one, and mine is voice activated too. It's called KIDS! "Hey kids, close that window!" It works great!

Window

I agree, saw it on the mega cab, it is sweet. I asked the guy if it would fit in a 05 Quad. I really don't see why it wouldn't. Maybe we can have one of the guys here that works at dodge, see if the solid glass on the 05, is the same as the solid glass on the 06 (that way we'd know if the dimensions, frame was the same) then maybe the 06 slider would fit. You'd have to buy the switch and all, but I would gladly buy a dodge one if it would fit and work that good (and be covered under warrenty) That would be great, they problably wouldn't even know it was an 05, tell them it's an 06 when you take it it (well it woudl work at our dealer)

Ah yes...SO true!

I've seen these Toyota trucks running around that have the whole rear glass roll down!

If the dealer couldn't tell the difference between an 05 and a 06 I wouldn't let him install my ashtray. ks

I second that comment. I also noticed that the web address listed with the power slider is for the 1500 Ram Cab. Not sure what that is all about. I just noticed that in the Description.

Maybe you missed the rest of the information on the page. I contacted them moments ago and they stated it will fit the 2500/3500 QC Rams.

I think they have come down in price a bit. If anyone is interested I can check with my buddy and see what he can get them for. Let me know.
