Power rear window conversion
Can anyone tell me what is involved in converting a manual sliding rear window to a power unit? Woulld I need to change the whole window or just add motor, wiring etc?
I always loved using the rear window when I used to drive regular cab trucks. I have had four doors for the last decade and can't reach that back window and miss it.

I'm not sure about the OEM type but when I had a power slider installed in my '98, they replaced the entire unit. It was a Laurence package. Well worth the money.

Here is a site that has a nice one... $560... Free Shipping...
I saw a few places on line where people just went down to a local glass dealer and had it installed (except for wiring and the like) for a few bucks and then went home and finished the wiring...
Thanks for bring this up..... I may be doing this soon too!!!
