plow bracket?

does anyone know if the bracket that bolts to the truck frame, for a fisher minute mount plow off of a 96 dodge 2500 will bolt up to a 2003 2500? or how far off it is? i have a welder and a tourch, but i just want to see if its even close. thanks.

Turbo, I had a 96 LB CTD with a Boss plow on it, and when I bought my 2004 CTD I had to have major mods done to the bracket to fit the new frame. Not the same plow I know, but basically the same trucks you have. Colby

cool. thanks. i just went to look at this plow. but ill probally pass it up. its too expensive to be wasting my time trying to get the brakets to fit. if it was a cheap plow setup, i would probally just go for it.

You will also need new wiring due to the headlight change. I've done this twice with my western plow once from a ford (wiring same as 2nd gen) to my 03 and again from my 03 to my 07. It cost me about $700 each time. A new mount is only about $250 it the wiring that is expensive.
