Pics of Denver Offroad Bumper on 07 MC
Looks way better than the (I can't remember the brand) aluminum bumper the boss put on his 06. Got a steel one for the 00 from them as well, and it looks a lot better than the aluminum. It has a bunch of gaps and that should have been, could easily have been, filled in or covered up. Looks great, as long as you don't look at it from anywhere but straight ahead.
Seems to me the logo has a couple mountains and is red. Fab fours?

Aluminum bumpers
I've cleared a LOT of brush with these and they are stout (as in construction)..........maybe not pretty enough, but hey....
and uhhhhh, I forgot to mention that I lifted the bumper out of the NICE shipping crate it was MOUNTED in and hung it on the front of my truck all by my lonesome too....try that with the five hundred plus pounds of an equivalent steel bumper...
You know, the one I'm NOT hauling around at over four bux a gallon....
I wouldn't run a ranch hand bumper either, they are uber industrial for people using their trucks for ranch/oil field duty. The LW bumper looks much better than the ranch hand regardless of the bends. On the other hand the ranch hand costs much less than $1800.
I do agree with you 100% on the weight issue, aluminum is the way to go. I had an aluminum ARB bull bumper on my first pickup, it wasn't much heavier than the stock parts. I've been trying to figure out who I know who could weld an aluminum bumper for me if I pieced one together.

Aluminum Bumper
Talk to or go see Layne, He'll build you whatever you want within his knowledge of what the structural capabilities of the material (steel OR aluminum) are. Which could differ from what you want if you're a layman with limited knowledge of such things. I've been in the Aircraft arena for a while and can objectively say he knows his "stuff" with the exception of what would entail long term corrosion protection/prep for aluminum products (my 2001 bumper's are getting crud under the finish.......over ten years old with a few nicks in them though... ) The latest in Alodine prep and epoxy primers are not his area, he farms those out to folks not used to such things. BUT they seal them up pretty good.
