Passenger side mirror

last week I destroyed my passenger side mirror against the post on my carport. (folding, heated, power, tow package mirror) I thought "Oh Cr#p, that's going to cost me at least a couple of hundred to replace. I found this website http://www.discountautomirrors.com/c...e)&Ns=price3|0
Four days later the new one was on my porch for $104. delevered. Put it on this am and It is at least as good as original equipment. I'm sure this is a lot less than I would have paid at a dealer. Probably faster shipping too. I couldn't find place of manufacture on either one.

What I've driven so far on streets and on the highway, there is No vibration in the mirror. The weight on the new one is at least as much as the original and the manuel folding joint is very stiff.

When unfolded in the tow position the Kool-vue haven't been the best. Maybe they got the issue resolved.

Hmm, I'll fold it out and give it a try as soon as I can.
Thanks

I've got a good, factory, passenger side tow mirror (power/heated) sitting in the garage that needs a new home. Guess I need to post in the classifieds.

I'm Sorry I have not been back to this thread in several months. I was quite satisfied with the the replacement mirror. I didn't see any more vibration in it than the drivers side original. Yours may vary. I was happy with it. TILL this afternoon!!! This one broke just like the original aginst the same post!! Yes I know I'm A dummy to back into the same pole twice. I just ordered another for $119 Maybe I should have ordered more than one : )

I have had the same mirror on my truck for three years now and no problems. the heated mirror is not as good as factory but still does a good job.

I need just the glass. Gotta break down and get it someday. A local glass shop will install it for about $89. For the OP...did you need just glass or the whole thing?

needed the whole thing, I bent it forward(which they don't do) on a tree while wheeling, and broke the internal parts so it would not stay put.
