paint????

While washing the truck yesterday I found the rear lower panel of the fender covered with small black specs that appear to be black paint, or something, most of them pop off if I scrape them with my finger, but what could I use to speed up the process of getting them off. I dont know how it got there, but I hope it will all come off!

Any asphalt resealing going on in your area lately? Try Bug and Tar remover. Actually, WD-40 works just about as well.

Mothers clay bar system works well on all sorts of goo and paint overspray. It also leaves a nice smooth surface to make waxing a breeze. Mothers showtime alone will remove most junk too and wont strip wax. If that doesn't work, skip the bug and tar and use WD-40 but you will have to re-wash and wax the applied area.
Just some thoughts

Try clay magic, I got a lot of paint over spray on my truck a while back and it took it right off. Also had to buy a bottle of "final inspection". The Final Inspection is used as a lubracant (spelling) for the clay bar. Just spray on and rub clay over area. Took me 4 hours to do entire truck including washing and waxing.

The clay bar removed everything for my truck; paint, bugs, tar, and what ever else was on the thing. Looked better then the day I brought it home. Note get an ice pack for the sholder you'll need it if you have a lot of area on the truck to clean.
