Our Road Race '06 Dodge Common Rail...new pic's!!

WELP...i got to post them...because of a lot of hard work and sleepless nights went into this thing! (AND I am personaly proud of the results) YES....we actually did most of the wrench turning (short of engine and tranny assembly)!

If asked last year how I though it would turn out...i would have rolled my eyes and said "we will see...". BUT this truck has floored me on how well it has ran and the insane amt (Haven’t dynoed it as of yet) of SOP power it has. Just ran a race last weekend and got clocked at 147 MPH and came in 3rd overall in our class! Not bad for a 7000 lbs 4x4! haha....

Thanks to all our vendors that steped up to help out with the build!

Here are some of the latest, hot off the press, pics. Let us know what you think:

Cool Dan!
Are you going to bring it down to the upcoming DHRA Nationals in Houston?

sweet truck ! I'd be very interested in hearing what's running it and how you got past the speed/rev limiter. Or is it secret ?

dan you sure you aint taking a siesta under that truck? LOL? We used to do that when I was working on Helicopters, we would crawl under the bird and into the hell hole (where the cargo hook is) and act like we was working (when on mid shift) and take a little nap.

VERY NICE TRUCK AND CONGRATS ON THE FIRST RACE!!

Yeah, Dan, I hope you come down to the races. Bring some pumps with you, there are a lot of vendors.

I see you like to use that Chevy orange paint on the drive train.
Is that one of those gear vendors units on the back end. I'll assume it only works in 2wd.
