Don't know about the 3500's, but I ordered a 2500 -- the dealer placed the order on Tuesday, 3/18 and when I called DC on Friday, 3/21, they said my order was already in &quot;D&quot; status -- 4 days!!! ;D ;D ;D<br>Customer service rep said that orders had slowed down recently (probably due to war jitters and the fact that the new trucks have been available for quite a while now) so backlogs had been worked off and orders are going through pretty quick.<br>

 

Great to hear F11Eng. My Ram went right to D1 status but then it stayed there for over 10 days. When I was really starting to wonder what's taking so long it suddenly shipped.<br><br>My history:<br>2/17 Ordered 3500 QC 2-wheel drive shortbed<br>2/22 D1 status<br>3/05 Built<br>3/07 Shipped<br>3/21 Arrived on train to Spokane<br>3/23 Still on train in Spokane<br>3/25 Hope to be driving it <br><br>Vaughn

 

Dealer put in my order on 2/10, was D1 on 2/19, built/shipped out on 3/4 (Mexico plant), arrived in NJ 3/25. Longest delay was in Twin Oaks, PA where it was unloaded from rail car and sat there for about a week waiting for a carrier.

 

Another update:<br><br>Truck left Laredo, TX on 4/5 on a train and is now on its way to MR-LM (whatever that is) to be transferred to a truck for delivery to San Diego!!<br><br>DC is moving these trucks fast:<br>Ordered 3/18<br>D status 3/21<br>D1 status 3/24<br>KZ sometime before 4/5 since it cleared customs and left Laredo on 4/5<br><br>I might have this thing less than a month after ordering! ;D ;D<br><br>The only disappointment is I find that the HO is now available in California (became available about 10 days after I ordered). &gt;<br><br>Oh well, I'm sure I'll be happy with this one for a while and then when I need more power I can always visit Edge, TST, Bully Dog, etc.!!

 

Hey F11,<br>Where do you get the number for DC to inquire about your status of your truck? I ordered mine on 3/22. The dealer said he would give me the VIN when he got it but haven't heard yet. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

 

Ask your dealer for the VON, Vehicle Order Number. The number is created at the same time your order is placed. Once you have that- call DC at 1-800-992-1997. Once it goes D1 they can give you the VIN and from that point you can track your truck via the last 8 digits of the VIN.

press 2
press 5
press 2 to bypass survey
press 3 to enter phone number
press 1 to confirm phone number

EDIT: I just called; the survey is gone and so is the option for entering a phone number. After you hit &quot;5&quot; now you go right into the queue.
