thanks for the number. just called dealer. he said that he was only allowed to order 2 trucks for the first 1/4 of the year. my truck was number 2. ordered 3500/4wd/ho/quad/dually

Once you call the number listed you will need to have either your VON or VIN number. The VON (vehicle order number) you should be able to get from your dealer right away. Once you have the VON you can get the VIN from the telephone number listed on the site mentioned above. This site also lists all the codes and explainations for the status of your truck.

If you want to shortcut the telephone prompts use this sequence 1,2,5,2,3,enter your area code and phone number,1.

Occasionally you will get a rude service rep but the rest are very friendly and helpful.
