Only blows through defrost
hello, new to the site, im am new to dodge trucks and on my 07 ram 3500 the heater or a/c only blows through the defrost. I am reading that it might have a vacuum leak. I would just like some informationmaybe someone can help me with this. Where is the vacuum pump, is it hard to take the dash apart to check vacuum lines? any help would be appreciated. Thanx

No vaccuums on these systems. Electric accuator motors control the plenum doors. Sounds like you just fell victim to the dreaded "door issue." only real way to solve this issue is to contact HeaterTreater and get a set of metal doors and permanantly solve this problem. Mine have worked flawlessly for better part of a year now. PM me for more info or do a search for HeaterTreater doors.

Heater tweeter doors
I concur with jhenson. Go to heater treater and purchase the divert door and recirculate door also, and be done with it. A really good, easy and cheap fix.

thanx for the link, ive read over the link and it sounds like its one of the mode doors. i read that mode door 1 switches between dash vents and defrost/floor. i only get air out of the window defrost, so does this mean both mode doors are broken?
