OK I was Wrong

This time.

I have been taking your advice too far "run it like you just stole it" Yea, but when you get to speed back off a bit.
1800 rpms IS the sweet spot for a truck with 5spd auto/4.10 rear end.
After not being able to example or get a reply I thought made sense, to explain my increased fuel mileage in 4HI in snow last week, I set the cuirse control to 1800+/-rpms which came out to be 57 mph, and you guessed it after a reset my mpg went up and stayed up.
I fueled up today and am going to RILIJSI but once I get to speed set it to 1800rpm and see how big a difference there is.

Now who's got that crow?

I dont have your 4.10`s , but as an IMPATIENT new yorker.....i could never run at 1800 rpm`s. i find myself running 2200 rpm`s. thats about 78mph but i AM curiuos how you do, keep us informed.
