New or Used? If you are going to spring the cash for a new one why not order it? That way everything is exactly the way you want it right down to the color. I have never understood why folks buy lot vehicles unless they are spec'ed exactly like they want.

If you're looking for a mega cab dually then you need an 06 or 07, could probly find a used one with low miles and a good price but it's gonna be hard to find one used that has options that you want. You could order one new through the dealeship from the factory, but be willing to wait cause you never know how long it will take to get it. Another option is to have your local dealership search other inventories and bring one in for you.

Because if he ordered it now it would have the 6.7 in it, and I think he wants a 5.9

Hmm, maybe if he would have stated that in the original post..... Wow, we need a DTR mindreaders club now!!!

The point I was trying to get across is that coming on the DTR and saying I want a truck is not being very specific and is likely to only get responses like, "try a dealer search", "order a new one", "look here, www. find a new truck . com". He needs to do a little legwork on his own and I'm sure he'll find exactly what he's looking for. Now, it would be a completely different story if he said, " hey fellas, can you help me out? I had my dealer try to locate the vehicle that I want, but there are none to be found. Does anyone know where I can find a (insert SPECIFICS here)?". Shoot, why doesn't someone else just find it and buy it for him.... man!

The hardest part of your search is going to be the 6speed I think. I found what you are looking for locally in Blair NE, but it is an automatic.

or since he is able to fly wherever to get one, you could also go to the dodge website and build one with all the options that you want and then you can have it search by zip codes for that particular vehicle
