Well as it says no dash lights at all..check the fuse its good even swapped it out in case still no go..jiggeled the switch a bit nothing..messed with the dimmed,no go..Im guessing the switch unit it self is bad..any ideas ..input?

Always used to be 2 tail lights out would shut down your dash to let you know (it was actually in the owner's manual). Don't know what they do these days but worth a check?

You mean 2 tail lights out would shut off the dash lights or 2 tail lights would be out if the dash lights are or switch is bad..

Well any way the tail lights are fine any other ideas befor eI go and spend 60 bucks on a switch?

Sorry, nothing comes to mind. Can you jump the switch to prove its bad?
