No brake lights on 06

ok guys im stumped. All the other lights work as they sould, turn signals, running lights and even the third brake light works. If u hook up a trailer all the trailer lights work too EVEN the brake lights. But no brake lights on the truck. I have replaced the brake switch, bulbs, checked fuses, and checked the wiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

check the light sockets them selves. Blow out with air clean with contact cleaner then apply dielectric greese. If that don't work possible bad sockets?? Have you used a test light at wire at socket? If so and good then I'd say socket then.

Here's the link for the wiring diagrams. I think the reason your truck brake lights are not working and the brake lights on the trailer are working is, I have not verified this but i was told they are to seperate systems. So for what you've posted, it sounds like it could be a TIPM problem.

The systems are different, I would have to agree about the TIPM but you need to go over the wiring diags to make sure.

Great Link djdc!
