LOL... No not slick... YET!!! I'm up to 76,000 miles now and still doing good!

It's obviously no where near new, but still got decent tread... still more than that of a passenger style tire! I need to get a gauge and see what the exact measurment is. I run 60psi all the way around normally rotate & Balance every 15,000 miles but I got too busy to this past time so I'm at almost 16,000 miles now and hope to find time this weekend to do so.

I'll be getting a new set next month!

Good write-up in Diesel mags too

Timing is everything I guess. I just read about these last month in one of the 4x4 or diesel mags. I'm getting a set for this summer as well!

Sounds like the 35's with a leveling kit seem to fit (as long as no need for chains!). I would prefer new (black) rims, but am strapped for $$

Guess I'll need a Smarty now to adjust tire size

The new Diesel Power gave the Nitto Trail Grapplers two thumbs up and rated them quieter than the Toyo MT's which makes them the quietest MT on the market.

Any updates to the Nitto Trails? Wear ratings? I'm trying to decide between the 285 or 295 18's. Thanks

sgt93,

Your truck looks great with the wheel/tire combo!

Do you have any shots from front to back to see how far they stick out?

Thanks.

I will take some better pics when I get a chance but they barely stick out. It looks great. Had a guy yell at a stop light tonight how great the truck looks. I'm impressed.

Ya you wouldn't believe the amount of compliments I've gotten about the new tires. Have had a bunch of people wondering what they are because they haven't seen them yet. I love em. got about 10000 on them now and they seem to be wearing great.

As of now this is the only other shot I have of it. They stick out about an inch or slightly more.

WooHoo - Tires are on their way! Found a guy heading this way (AK) so was able to purchase at Discount tire and no shipping - well, no shipping fees, but there will be some definite beer expense when he gets here

Full set of 35x12.5.R17 AND a spare!!

How, if at all, bad do they pickup those small stones in your driveway?

I have the same type of driveway and don't like tires that pack with stones in the tread blocks and fling 'em all over once you hit the pavement.

It's not that bad at all. There are rocks but they seem to fall out more than they are flung out. I also tow a bass boat all over and so far so good. I did order some Rock Tamers though. My mileage has gone to crap with the tires but they are worth it.

That's what I have now and they don't rub anywhere.
