Well it turns out that the Nitto Terra Grapplers are on freakin' backorder!! So we're having a hard time finding them. Cant get the Toyo Open Country ATs either....on backorder.

They have some BFGoodrich 305/70/18s sitting there at the shop so I'm highly considering buying them if I cant get ahold of the Nittos....

My daughter has 265/75/16s E range on her 96. They are pretty mcuh worn out at 40K. About 15K was tow mileage (loaded 3 horse trailer). Don't think the tires were rotated often.

Yup, the ad expired... I'll re-post.

The Terra G's are great. If I didn't need a mud terrain, I'd definately keep and be buying again....

I like mine that I have on the '99. They're good for the little bit of off roading that I have done. I will probably go back with them unless I lift this truck and put 39.5s on it, or get another CTD.

Anyone know if a set of 325/60/18s will fit on on my truck? We can get a set of them but we're just worried that they wont fit!

Any issues with the tires rubbing? Anything like that? Am I going to need a lift to get 'em to fit?

You will probably need to run a 2" coil spacer to be on the safe side. I have 325/70s on the '99 and they still rub at full turn even with the 2" spacers.

I ran 305/70/r16's on my 2000 ram 2500 V10. I loved them. Ok mud, Very Good snow (kept up w/ my dad's 94 bronco running bfg ko's in 18 inches of powder) very quiet. They were not much louder than my stock Mich. The wear was not great, but what do you expec from an aggressive, soft compound true all-terrain tire?

I will be putting a set on my new 06 next fall for hunting season.

I had balancing issues on the Terra Grapplers I had on my CJ. Overall, a good quiet tire, not sure how they do on towing..If you've ever towed anything with a short wheel base Jeep it really doesnt matter what tires you are running...it's still not fun!

I ran the Nitto TG's 325/60R18 for 40,000 miles with no lift or leveling kit and never had any rubbing. A great tire but I changed to Goodyear because they have an E rated tire in the same size.
