Nitto Terra Grappler vs. Mud Grappler and other tire questions

How much less life could i expect out of the Mud Grappler? They seem to be cheaper than the Terra Grapplers. Also, any other tire recomendations for the truck. Im looking at either 35X13.5X18/20s or 355/60/20-355/65/18. I know about the Toyo Open Country M/T, but i have also seen some Kumhos in that size...just wondering what they look like or if anyone has used them. Just looking for the least expensive tire i can get in those sizes b/c i dont put a lot of miles on the truck. Thanks, Jason

The Mud Grappler is a specailty tire and doesn't give a tread life rating. I would think the life of that tire would be greatly lower than the Terra Graplers that should net 50k.

The reason the terra's are cheaper than the mud's are for the fact that all terrain tires are much more popular than mud terrain tires.
I have the mud grapplers and have 19,000 on the tires and have more than half the threads left. I run 42 psi and rotate the tires every 5,000 miles. The tires are a bit loud but what mud tires aren't...
