New wheels

Put new wheels/tires on my truck, just thought I would share. 18 X 9 with Michelin 275/65/18 A/Ts.
Got a theme going with my car, thinking about carrying it over to my trailer as well.

I've seen one where someone dropped a Dmax in one. I'm running in the 10s with the little V6 right now, so I think I'll stick with the gas burner for a while.

Thanks Wes,
Nah, just a single nice ball bearing turbo (67/76).
Its a good ways from stock (drive train), high 10s on pump gas and alky, mid 10s on 116 fuel. Hell of a street sleeper!

Did that car use to sit on torque thrusts because if so I know exactly where you live and I always wondered why you kept that car outside. I use to live like a block or so from you.

No, I use to have solid black wheels on it about 2 years ago, then switched to the current.
I keep the GN in the garage almost all of the time, I've had it since '99 and only have about 9800 miles on it. Mainly a weekend cruiser with a "little" track duty.
Are you in the BCS area? Suprisingly there are quite a few GNs in the area.

At one time I lived off Colgate, graduated about two and a half years ago. Guy at the corner had a really clean GN that sat in his driveway most of the time. I think it sat on torque thrusts though, can't exactly remember 100% because this was a few years ago.

I thought about seeing if he wanted to sell it at one time my brother wanted one.

His house looks similar to yours but they all do in that area

Anyways I've seen a few up there, the cleanist one I ever saw was on campus, guy owned it since new and it had around 15K miles on it. I think he was a prof.

Ever run that GN against a GMC Cyclone? Those little trucks were potent right out of the box.

Nice pair of toys you got there.

Yea the Sy/Ty trucks are pretty cool, turbo with AWD to boot. They are fairly rare, had a bud with one but was mostly stock.
Little different between the two, GNs had a 3.8 Buick V6 while the trucks had a 4.3 Cheby V6. I believe it was a little harder to get the trucks blasting down the 1/4 like the Buicks did, but they can hold their own!
Thanks for the compliment.
