My seats have gotten stains from rain and even a small soda spill in the back seat but after a few days (and a quick wipe of the soda first!!) my stains disapeared. I have since used the Scotch Guard on them and it seems to work.

I got a little piece of chocolate smeared on my driver's seat once, looked like I myself!

So I wipe the seat with a wet cloth, well you know what happened, chocolate stain is gone but now I have a big water stain, now it looks like I myself!

I wanna steam the seats, try the Scotchguard route or get some of those nice covers I see people with on here, the ones through Costco in the US.

My truck is 4 months old & the seats look like they came out of a junkyard truck! These seats stain so easily First rain storm and they were trashed. I have 2 little kids & I would hate to see what would happen if there was an "accident" Dodge SHOULD do something about this, but I doubt they will.

I had the dealer do the 'interior protection treatment' when I bought my '05 and never noticed any water stains. I've since added MoPar seat covers so who knows?

It wasnt such an issue on the 05's but it surely is with the 06 garbage. My 05 was "rain resistent". That sounds like a pretty good marketing scheme; "Have serious needs, buy a serious truck. The all new 2007 Dodge Ram Heavy Duty line of trucks offers superior towing capability with 325hp and 610 lbs of tourque generated by the proven durability of the Cummins 5.9L I6 turbo diesel powerplant. Mated with the all new 6speed automatic transmission you can tow with confidence and in comfort. Oh yeah, the seats are "rain resistent" too!

I've been able to keep the spots and stains out of mine. I got that foaming auto upholstry cleaner that has the brush attached to it. (autone, checker, etc.) When I clean, I make sure the cleaner completely soaks the seat cover. Then I use a shop vac on it for a couple of minutes. I've noticed that if the cleaner doesnt soak through, it will leave spots. I've cleaned my seats about 4 times using this method and I don't have any spots or water marks.

Here's how I got the stains out - I ripped out the cloth and replaced it with aftermarket leather. No more stains!
