new side view mirrors?

I thought i had asked about these in the past, and no one knew about them.

Has anyone seen the article in the most recent petersons 4 wheel and offroad of turning a diesel into a power wagon?

on page 72, there is a red truck with new style side mirrors. Where can i get those?????? I hate the stock mirrors.

do a search on 'kool-vue mirrors'

this is what a lot of 2nd gen guys put on their trucks. 2nd gens didn't come with tow-power-heat options. just tow OR power/heat

your truck in sig is a 3rd gen - don't all 3rd gen diesels come with the power/heat/towing mirrors?

here is a link to the cheapest place on the internet for the kool-vue mirrors. discount given for phone orders . . .

That is the stock Dodge tow mirror. Ebay often has good deals on a pair.

I checked ebay and didnt see any. I asked the parts guy at the dealership the other day, and he said he didnt know of them......... interested.

Anyone have a shot of the glass side of the mirror? Im curious if it gives better visibility than the panel style Ive got. I hate those mirrors unless in tow mode, and even then, with the "round" eye, it blocks a lot of vision.

How about something like these?

I have the electric/heated w/ turn signals on mine - great vision - easy to adjust for towing
