The new EMF rod end has a different size hole.. it's larger so the original spacers would not work.

Thanks Spooled05 for the info on the EMF joint. Yea been driving it for over a week. Still have to finish the steering brace.
What do you guys do for alignment? Measure?
My place couldn't get their alignment rig to mount on my new rims. The tire covers the bead edge.

Love the new setup so far. I don't even have a stabilizer shock on yet.. not even the factory one.. no DW.

TR seems better but then you can't get any better than stop to stop on the knuckles.

Finished modifying the Defiant steering box support today and installing the Bilstein dampener in the stock location.
Front end feels great.

I cut the bearing section off and re-positioned it onto the new steering box. Had to do a little clearance grinding to clear the pitman arm
Layed a piece of angle iron in there, clamped and tacked. Took it off and finished welding.. paint.. install.

Would have it been better to have the bearing on the steering brace mounted on the other side of the plate ... less deflection

Yea you're probably right. I think most deflection is side to side though. It's pretty strong in that direction.

That's the way it was designed originally. I just made the position adjustment.

The Defiant box was designed to clear Paul's rockguard plate.

Where did you get the nut for new box to steering brace? I got the same brace as you do.

PSC part number 13.03A

You have to call them. They don't list it.
