Need tire recommendations 2004 Ram

It is time to replace the tires on my 2004.5 4x4. I want to stick with 265s in an all terrain. Something with good highway manners but that will still get me around in the dirt/mud/snow... I am looking at these tires:
1. Goodyear Wrangler Silentarmor
2. BFGoodrich Rugged Trail TA
3. Firestone Transforce AT
4. Toyo Open Country AT
My main concern is max. reliability as I travel a lot back home. Does anyone run any of those tires or have any experience with them?

Thanks

I've had a few sets of the Toyos. They're an excellent tire. Quiet, smooth, and great in the wet/snow.

I haven't had any experience with any of those tires but the tires I've been running have been doing very well for me. They are Bridgestone Duellers A/T Revos. They are quiet on the road and grip good off the road. A set will normally run me a year.

I have always liked the BFG's all terrain. They are quiet and always lasted a long time. They work pretty good light off- roading also. I went with a set of mickey thompson mudders this last time and I miss the quietness of the BFG's. If I had one thing negative to say about them, they seem to pick up a lot of rocks in the tread off a gravel drive and then throw the rocks out at highway speeds. I have a few chips behind my wheels from that but hey, its a truck!

These are the ones I will buy when I nned a new set. My Neighbor has them on his 1/2 ton 2wd and he gets around in the snow just fine when I can't go anywhere with my michelins.

I am leaning towards the Bridgestone A/T Revo's even though they weren't on my original list. I like the tread design.
acfr2105, what size do you run in that tire?

I run 265-70-17 and the good thing about them is they are E rated so they can still handle a load

If you don't mind a little stiffer ride and shelling out money for rims, the 19.5 opton will give you 2 -3 times the miles on a set of tires.

I have seen those on DRW models. How does that work on a SRW?

Work great on mine. I have 50k miles on a set of Bridgestone M724. Mine are not very aggresive, but other tread styles are available. I used cast aluminum rims but steel rims and machined alloys are available too. Wear is excellent (mine have 60-70% left), but ride is stiffer due to the harder ribber. Load range is G on mine (heavy!), and traction is adequate in light mud and snow - they are not for serious off-road use, but I just carry 4 chains.

Thanks for the link! Not sure if I'm prepared to drop that kind of $$$ on rims and tires right now. Man those 19.5 traction tires look good though!!!
