Here is my attempt to post my 2003 Dodge 3500 QC Short Bed
Ken,
Where was I when all this happened? I did not remember you ordered a shorty. Pretty. White looks good after you get them dolled up a bit. Are you still happy with the SB while towing? Or, maybe you haven't towed yet. I am not finding the long bed objectionable. I think the dually was the hardest to get used to, but the turning radius has to be close to my old extended cab SB. That has really helped ease the pain of the longer truck. Pretty neat all dressed up there, young man. I like it.
Bob
Re:In need of pics
Hi Bob,
I put a post on the forum back in December. See below

Dodge Truck / Engines and Drivetrain / 3rd Gen Engine and Drivetrain / Re:48RE orderable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: December 11, 2002 08:51:32 AM
Thanks for the information Luke. My dealer had a quota of 5 trucks for January so my order is the first one of them.

After thinking about my truck order over the weekend I decided to change my order and go back to the original Truck that I intended to purchased. That is the 3500 QC 2/4 SRW SB with the 4.10 rear axle. I called my dealer yesterday and changed my order. I have decided that I have the largest RV that I ever intend to purchase so this setup will work for me. It's tow rating is 16,450lbs. Could have gotten by with the 3.73 rear axle but decided it would be nice to smile as I go up any mountain road. I will have to decide which slider hitch to select, the Reese or the Pullrite.

This truck will fit in my garage.

Thanks for your comments. I also like the way it turned out.
I have not towed yet. My hitch, a Reese 16k Kwik Slide, is to be installed on Saturday at the dealer near New Orleans where I purchased my Sunnybrook. This will be my first Short Bed. Solo, this truck is just super in the way it handles and I will post my towing experiences when it happens. My first camping trip is scheduled for March 1, 2003 to Gulf Shores, AL. Here is another picture.

There is another post report on the transmission and truck's first 400 mile performance.

Re:In need of pics
Here's a link to my first picture post. Had the truck since 12-20, and still smile every time I see it, and grin every time I drive it. ;D

http://www.dodge-diesel.org/yabbse/i...;threadid=9057

Great thread
Sweet! Looks like I'm in good company ;D

Last Monday I ordered a 3500 QC shorty 4x2 as well, but I hadn't really seen any good pictures of any. The one I test drove was white and looked real nice. I really like how the 4x2s sit but honestly if I had the room and use for a dually, I'd be all over one of those.

Mine will be Patriot Blue & Silver with aluminum wheels
