I have it on my truck and I can honestly say I don't use it much. I rather have a small portable unit. The OEM cannot be set while driving, you have to stop to change anything. It's DVD operated, this means all the updates have to be purchased from Dodge at $ 200 each. Unless you get the My Gig, previous version is not touch screen, it takes a while to run the joystick just to enter a city or street name (letter by letter with no "prediction" from the unit).
I like the large screen and the rear entertainment system, but unless you buy an aftermarket add on unit ($ 250) that unlocks the GPS system and makes it more user friendly, I feel it is not the most helpful accessory in my truck.
I suggest to get a good brand external unit, you will be happier, even if it adds a little "clutter" and doesn't look as clean as the OEM install, and especially you'll save a bundle of money.
Get the Sat radio instead.
