My mirrors!

Got an 2007 2500 ram
These mirrors are the worst things I`ve ever looked in to!!!!
I can`t see Edit with the little useless convex mirrors on them!
Distracting to say the least.
Is there a replacement?
Any mods to remove alter?
Thing of painting them flat black...not kiddin!
Thanks for the help, looking for the masking tape and flat black now.

I have a set of the none towing mirrors that are power and heated if you want. You can see good out of them

Where did you get those. When the truck/trailer are inline can you still see down the length of the trailer well.

you can view them here http://www.ttt-mirror.com/ and i bought them here http://www.earlowen.com/ i am sure u can find a place off the site closer to you and if all else fails u can have them shipped

i sold my stock factory power/heated tow mirrors online for 300.00 and bought these for 400.00 so 100.00 out of pocket

they are power and heated that just plug into ur factory wiring for the heat and power but u have to run wires for the lights that are built in

they would have charged me 100.00 to put them on but i decided to do it myself but believe with the work involved running the wires through the doors and up under the hood into the fuse box that the 100.00 was a good deal

two weekends ago i went camping in the houston( camper is 38 feet) area and on my way home about half way i realized i forgot to slide my mirrors out and said to heck with stopping and sliding them out i can see just fine so yes u can see down the length of the trailer

Yes they are the pwr/heated mirrors.

I would like to see a pic of the actual mirror area.
Are they OEM Dodge?
Like the guy with the red one ton duelly said about the convex taking up too much of the flat mirror area.

PM sent with my phone #

Have they changed the trailer tow mirrors for the 07s? I love my 04.5 flip up tow mirrors.

No, they are still the same. I love mine as well. My dad has an 03 Sierra with pull out mirrors and the Dodge's are 100x better.

I like mine fine now after a few months. Also the leveling kit made it much eaisier to see. But I know from having the old style mirrors this guys fustration with using the stock mirrors. There is something strange with the placement of the convex part or somthing.

Dodge should`ve placed the little convex mirrors low and inside.
Instead of up top and out.

There was a thread a couple months ago on here where a member found that the mirror glass can be swapped from drivers side to passenger mirror and vice/v ersa, essentially repositioning the convex mirror for better seeing. Required extending the heating wires a bit (if you have that option) but essentially the glass fits either side just fine. Just required taking glass out of clips very carefully.
