I haven't done it on my '08 yet but have seen it done at the dealership and it works. No pin needed. Not sure if this wire is on the 06's but it sure is on the 08's.
I'll have to look again now! I had that whole wiring harness/plugs pulled apart and didn't see it. Yes the guy at the dlr confirmed he had done this on several 06's, and per your pic, it's the same on the '08s.
Green wire's gotta be there on the '07's!

You got it. Once that wire is grounded, you just need to enable the high idle feature with the StarScan.

So your saying you have a Jun 07 build with a 5.9? Hmm... something isn't correct. The OP fixed his statement, but you still seem to say otherwise. Any vehicle built Jan 01, 2007 and later had to be a ULSD rig.. only the 6.7 meets that requirement.

I don't know what the build date is on my truck. I bought it in Feb of 07, so it can't have a build date of jun 07. It appears that I fat fingered it...

Gotcha... Build date will be on your door... and build date of the truck and motor will be different as well.

I won't be able to dig in until this weekend again, but I pulled that whole big plug (in the pic)off the firewall, and disconneted about everything. I'm going after it again though, gotta be there.

It's been a while since I did the research, but I want to say the green wire is a 6.7 thing.

Mine is a '06 model, built 7th month of '05, and it does not have that wire.

Did some reading of old threads.. it appears the green wire is a 6.7 thing. On a man trans 5.9 you must ground #22 on the ECM.

Look in the lower left hand part of the decal on the door :

MDH = Month Day Hour

Month 05 (May)
Day 16 (May 16th)
Hour 09 (9:00 am Saltillo time)

No Green Wire!

Ok, so can anyone confirm if they've found the green wire under the dash on an '07 5.9L?
Mine's not there, and as said above, this may only be a 6.7L thing???
Dlr said he'd done it on '06's with the green wire.......What gives?
I can get the ECM pin, just never have time at work to order one.

Oh, build date is 11-06

I think the dealer is mistaken. Just like my dealer told me than instant black oil is only a 6.7 thing...
