Question Moog Ball Joints/Front end Wandering 3rd gen

Hi,
I have an 05 2500 quad cab that I just replaced all components of front end. 170k miles on it. The components were all bad of course, and the truck was all over the road when hitting a bump and so on, but there was no wandering condition at all.
all replacement parts including upper and lower ball joints were Moog. The shop realigned the truck once and 2nd time was in spec. When towing the wandering issue was 10x worse.
After going to theswe forums, I'm seeing identical complaints in which many are pointing towards the Moog ball joints causing this condition. The shop wants it right and agrees to change out to new joints sending back Moogs for credit. I'm thinking to have them install OEM joints to be sure to eliminate Moog or aftermarket as the cause.
Appreciate any input from those who have been down this road before. The key thing here is that the front end was bad before, but no wandering condition.
Appreciate any input!

I had the same problem, but I just deal with it. OEM was bad, put Moog in it, fixed the shake but now it wanders.

I hear XRF is ok, couple of others to replace with.

From my research I decided to go with Dynatrac BJ's.. more money, less hassle, and a longer life.

So far I have 13K miles on them and they are better than stock ever was.

Yeah, I understand... I just don't pull a trailer that often anymore, so I can live with it.

My XRF joints were shot within two years. Saved up and bought a set of Carli's and don't regret it at all......well worth it.
