Mirrors

Just took the 5th wheel into the dealer for a little work and I noticed with the mirrors folded out that they were vibration really bad. The glass inside the plastic housing was vibrating not the whole mirror. I have noticed a little vibration before if I went over a bump or something, but not just driving down the road. It was only at 50 mph +. Has any one else had any trouble with this? I don't want to lose one driving down the road or any thing.

my passenger side mirror vibrates some. not bad enough to take it to the dealer though. it is the whole mirror not just the glass. just can't seem to find the time to fix it myself.

There was another thread, same complaint maybe 3 months ago? Sorry, don't remember the details, maybe try a search on mirrors in 3rd gen areas. Mine are fine, no problems here.

I've had both of mine replaced due to the mirror head vibrating. From what I've told by others there is no way to tighten up the srings and the only way to fix it is to have them replaced
