michelin take offs prices?

Wow
with everyone tradeing in there michelins, I have a chance to buy a one week old set of take offs with the crome clad steel rims but I don't know what a fair price would be.Mine have 50,000 miles on them and side walls are cracked but I still like them. I thought it would be nice just to bolt these on when I need to. Any ideas? Thanks.

I've seen prices from $500 - $800. Tomorrow I'm picking up a set my self.

A friend of mine agreed to buy my tires at the end of July after my ordered truck arrived May 30th. We settled on $480 for the set of four.....they now have 1,601 miles on'em as of today (LT265/70R17 Michelin LTX A/S blackwall).

I'll be replacing the krappy Michelins with some LT285/70R17 Firestone Destination A/T's LRD in raised white letter. I'm hoping the white letters will jazz up the ol' MegaCab a tad.

In October last year I found a set of 4 Michelin tires and wheels in LA with 8K miles for $500. I decided to wait and am glad I did. I found set of 5 wheels and 5 Michelin tires with a couple of hundred miles on them(spare was unused) for $400 here in SD. I found them in San Diego Union classified. Try Recycler website and craigslist also. Just be patient and you will find them for 1/2 what this guy is asking.

There is a slightly cheaper set with about 300 miles on them in the classifieds right now.

I paid $400 for nearly new tires, including shipping them to me about 1500 miles. I then paid a bit over $100 to have them mounted, lifetime balanced, new valve stems, and disposal of the old ones. About $75 per tire seems to be the most common price.
