It's getting a little too cool and unpredictable around these parts to camp, as far as I'm concerned, but I came up with an excuse to tow. I took the trailer to the dealer to have some warranty work done. I know the power numbers on this CTD are up over the '03, but I didn't expect to notice a difference. Maybe it's in my mind but I thought the '06 with 1100km pulled harder than my '03 with 65000km on it. Even without the equalizer/sway control hooked up I thought it towed fine; maybe the long wheelbase helps. Anyway, here are a of couple pics...nothing fancy.

That setup looks about as long as mine with the truck plus 30ft trailer. Do you notice the extra wheelbase length and does it make the towing any more stable than with your previous truck. Just curious as I would like to be talked into the same truck!

The trailer is a Keystone Laredo 284BHS. Here is a link:

We bought it based on the floor plan. It was actually the only one that had everything we needed, including a 30" door entry. Not the ultimate in fit and finish, but probably average. We put about 5000 miles on it this summer with only very small first year problems.

Cool, I was looking at the 31RL. Wish Laredo had more floor plans in the TAG. They are building TT's so fast now, seems allot of them have to go back to the dealer to have something fixed that just wasn't right. 5000 Miles, that a fair amount of miles for the first year.

dealseeker, nice rig! It looks like your rig is in the same size and weight ballpark as mine. I have a Sandpiper 26FK that I tow with my 05 CTD Quad Cab LWB 4X4. The longer-wheelbase tow vehicles do tow much nicer than the shorter wheelbase.
